The European Union between parliamentarism and presidentialism

The thesis seeks to establish what kind of political system the European Union is: is it a parliamentary or a presidential one? In order to answer the question, Arend Lijphart’s criteria will be applied, according to which political systems can be divided into parliamentary and presidential ones.
